Welcome to the Freckled Wren! I am Jana, momma to three beautiful girls Reilly, Taylinn, and Ansley and a wife to one lucky husband Ryan. They are my world! God’s grace and their inspiration keep me going everyday!
I am crazy about ideas, I love to decorate, and I could shop everyday if my money really did grow on trees (no green thumb for this girl so either way I am still broke). My taste is simple. I love a good sale…you could say I am a bit thrifty (makes me feel a little classier than cheap) and I tend to obsess over how things look. Don’t get my husband started on how many times I change my clothes or move a candle 1/8 of an inch to make it perfect….and then go and move it back exactly the way it was. I love old things and I am constantly on the hunt for something different, unique and full of character. Finding great treasures to repurpose or redo are things I rarely pass up.
I am a development coach who loves helping others achieve personal and professional success. I learned the greatest lessons about life and myself from leadership development. This includes recognizing how personality influences our decisions, big or small. Even our style, how we dress, design and DECORATE!

When I was searching for a name, I wanted to find something that was different, embodied my personality, had charm and class, and full of character. I learned that wrens are busy, hard working birds who are always doing something for others. They consider their home a place to rest their heart. Perfect combination to represent me and my style, wouldn’t you say! The Freckled Wren is a place for me to share my creativity, love for decorating, quirky take on life, compassion for people, a way to develop others and so much more.
